This website is operated by GJ Forestry & Arboriculture, a forestry and arboriculture business based in Whitehorse, Yukon. You can contact us at contact@gregoryjohnson.ca or 867 335 5047.
Information we receive
This website does not currently have an online contact form. We receive information when you choose to contact us by email or telephone. Depending on your inquiry, that may include your name, email address, telephone number, preferred way to be contacted, requested service, property location or nearest community, project description, access information, photographs, and anything else you voluntarily include.
Cloudflare, as the website delivery and security provider, may process technical request information such as IP address, browser or device information, request times, and security signals when you visit the site.
Why we use information
We use inquiry information to respond, understand the requested service, confirm whether a property is within our service area, arrange assessments or site visits, prepare estimates, and communicate about current or potential work. Information may also be used for legitimate business, safety, and legal recordkeeping. Technical information may be processed to deliver the website and protect it from spam, abuse, and security threats.
Service providers
Cloudflare provides website delivery, hosting infrastructure, and security services and may process technical information on our behalf. Your own email or telephone provider and the providers used by the business may process communications when you contact us directly. The current website does not use an online form processor, transactional email service, or analytics provider.
Storage and retention
The website does not place inquiry submissions in a website database because it does not currently accept form submissions. Emails, call details, estimates, and project records may be retained for legitimate operational, recordkeeping, safety, and legal purposes. We review information when it is no longer required rather than promising a fixed or automatic deletion period.
Processing outside Yukon or Canada
Website, security, cloud, email, or telecommunications providers may process information outside Yukon or Canada. Their processing locations and safeguards are governed by their own infrastructure and terms; we do not claim that information remains in a particular country.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a small business and the services involved. No website, email, telephone, or cloud service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
Email contact@gregoryjohnson.ca to ask how your information has been handled, request access or correction, request deletion where appropriate, or withdraw an optional consent where applicable. Some information may need to be retained for legitimate operational, safety, recordkeeping, or legal reasons.
Cookies and similar technologies
We have not added nonessential cookie-based analytics, advertising, or browser-storage tools to this website. Cloudflare and other infrastructure or security services may still process technical information, and may use technologies necessary to deliver and protect their services. We do not use that activity for advertising or audience profiling.

We may update this notice as the website, contact options, service providers, or a future PruningCut service evolve. The date above will show when this notice was last revised.
